We are a spanish couple traveling through South America in our 2012 VW Bus T2 that we bought in Brazil more than a year and a half ago.

Because it was always a dream for us to be able to have and to travel in a VW Bus. Whenever we think about traveling, we think of a VW Bus, never any other vehicle. For us to travel, there is no other option than by a VW Bus.

What does the BusLife mean to you?

Traveling we have felt the importance of the traveling community. Help, support, brotherhood… the journey would never have been the same without that brotherhood… and BusLife for us means to continue to grow that fellowship.

What are the biggest advantages and challenges of living the BusLife?

The greatest advantages, without a doubt, is to always have with you your house, your little place where you can take refuge. Wherever you are, at any time, anywhere in the world, the feeling of freedom. To be able to wake up every day with a new scenario, or rete to sleep in places never thought before. It’s a dream, the truth. Of the biggest challenges… you may part with certain comforts, especially at the beginning we find it a little more complicated… but the truth is that nowadays nothing is a problem.

Tell us your favourite destination you have travelled to so far?

Our favorite destination so far we think it’s Argentina. It is a very large country that offers everything, nature is imposing and going from top to bottom was always for us a dream that we were able to fulfill. In addition the Argentinians treated us like no one else in the world and we have made many friends.

What’s your favourite thing about your VW Bus?

How welcoming it is. It’s simple, it’s basic but it’s a miniature little house. We always felt it was our home.

What advise would you give to anyone starting a travel adventure in a VW Bus?

Go ahead!!! Don’t be afraid! The world is much prettier through the glass of a VW Bus! 🙂
