Hey we are Belu & Lucho

We are traveling in a Brazilian VW Bus from ’96 to Alaska, for 3 years. We called her “Bianca” because as soon as we knew her it was a radiant white color.

At this time the VW Bus is in Mexico, in the house of a family and we are in Colombia, because we were visiting Argentina and we were stranded in Bogota (they closed the airports) because of the situation of the coronavirus.

We built the interior of the VW Bus with the basics (bed, kitchen, and closets) and remodeled it to make it more liveable during the trip. We put a shower on the outside and made it a liftable roof. All by ourselves.

We travel at 70 kilometers per hour and no more than 200 kilometers per day. We want her to go far and we take care of her as if she were a person, who gets tired of being traveling all day and needs pampering to move.

Our life mission is...

We started traveling to learn about places, cultures, and ways of life other than our own. Then the journey became more inside, to know ourselves. After 3 years of walking and being in touch with so many people, we realized that the dream of many people is to do the same, then at this moment, we want to share and encourage others to do so. That anything is possible! And it moves us to keep traveling around the world in the VW Bus to wake up and help awaken sleeping dreams.

Our best Buslife advice

It means learning to live well. To live the present, to live in peace, learning to love unconditionally. It means having friends all over the world and feeling accompanied by this odyssey that many consider "crazy and deviant." But first of all, it means FREEDOM.

It's a family on the road, in any country in the world. When we bought the VW Bus we would never imagine that thanks to it would open unthinking doors for us. You're never alone, there are thousands of fans willing to give you a hand. And they're friends who endure all the way and all their lives. They understand the Buslife and what you need.

The VW Bus attracts attention, it has its history. People come just for the friendly and legendary VW Bus. He helped us at all times to sell what we would like to sell. It also helps spread what you want to carry on 4 wheels.

Puff, many. But the deserts; Salar de Uyuni in Bolivia, the Atacama Desert in Chile, and the Tatacoa Desert in Colombia; gave us the greatest sense of FREEDOM, PEACE, and HAPPINESS, which we seek in life.

What I like the most is the raised ceiling, covered in wood. We can stand and expand the home. We also like the sympathy and excitement that provokes everyone: from the child to the adult. It brings you all a memory worth listening to. We love the love and passion that is generated around the VW Bus. The journey would not be the same in another vehicle.

Love her, listen to her, feel her, raise her, treat her well, be patient. It's all a VW Bus needs to get you around the world.
